In real life, its always better to play at home, but in 2k it really doesnt matter. Winning away games is just as simple as home games. The game should overall be harder in away games.
Allow separate home, away, and alternate accessory sets. NBA players almost always have different colored accessories for different jerseys (i.e. white sleeve with white jersey, black sleeve with colored jerseys), so why not add this to 2k
Make it so a 99 rating is significantly better than a 98. OR include a rare 100 rating. Scoring: In 2k11, the leaders in scoring will usually average 28-31 PPG. Make it so there will be one (or two) special scorers that can average around 34-36 like Kobe and Jordan. Rebounds: If a player has 99 Off. and Def. rebounding, he will average about 12-13 rebounds. Make it so a 99 will give you 15-16 boards like Kevin Love ...more »
If a player is tall, no matter how fast and quick he is, he will run like he is an average center. Make players like Durant run like a guard.
If a player has a 25 durability rating (Oden, Bynum), they should be missing significant time every season, but they will still play 82 games. Also, players with solid durability (70-85) should still miss some games. In one of my 2k11 Associations, Lebron played 10 straight seasons ...more »
Make CPU GMs sign players based on production rather than player rating.
Example: A player has an 80 overall rating, but sits behind an 84 overall player causing his minutes and production to drop. Lets say he plays 22 MPG, and averages 9 PPG, 2.5 RPG and 1 APG.
Realistically, he would probably deserve 5-7 million a year, but because of his rating, he would receive a near-max deal (11-14 million)
